What a Data Protection Officer does under Thailand's PDPA, and what a data subject can expect after contacting one.

General principle

A DPO is not the same function as customer complaint handling, although a request may be routed there.

When a data subject challenges the lawfulness or scope of processing, the question is an accountability question, not only a service question.

A request to the DPO was subsequently routed to complaint handling. Chapter 05 documents that sequence.
