Corrections & right of reply

If a materially referenced organisation or individual believes that a factual statement is inaccurate, incomplete or missing important documentary context, they may submit a correction or supporting document for review.

The principle

Corrections do not silently overwrite history. When a statement changes, the change is logged below with its date, the page affected, the original issue, the correction or added context, and the source.

What to include

The page and the exact statement concerned
Why the statement is said to be inaccurate or incomplete
Any documentary context that should be considered
Whether a right-of-reply statement should be published

A reply that is published is classified as an institution position and is never presented as a determination by an authority.
